About Me

Hi, I’m Chukwuemeka Aligbe, but my friends call me “Chuck.” Welcome to my website. I am a designer of digital, visual, and physical experiences based in Atlanta, Georgia. Whether it is a mobile app, logo, website, mixed-reality experience, branded exhibit, or a table: if you can think it, I can design it. I have almost two decades of experience in user experience design, visual design, graphic design, interface design, architecture, and product design. I am also an amateur programmer, data scientist, and computer scientist. My design philosophy emphasizes simple and functional design that helps people in their daily lives. If you want to learn more about me, take a look at my resume. If you want to know what I am up to currently, click here. And if you’re interested in working together, let’s get in touch.

Now

This section documents what I am doing and working on now (inspired by sive.rs/now)

Where am I now?

Atlanta, GA, USA

What do I do for work now?

I work as a Senior UX Designer at VML (formerly known as Wunderman Thompson).

What am I working on now?

I have redesigned my website (finally). I have also built a simple classless CSS framework called Minima, as well as a static site generator, Papyrus.

What am I reading now?

I am currently reading the book Scam Goddess by Laci Mosley. It is a humorous look at the world of scams, cons, and grifts. I find scams somewhat entertaining as a genre of true crime, as they are a lot less grisly than murders. Usually, I do much of my leisure reading on vacation, so it’s taking me a while.

What am I listening to now?

I have been listening to the UK garage artist JACK MARLOW. As a fan of electronica and a millennial, I enjoy Jack’s artfully composed beats reminiscent of 90’s house music. I particularly enjoy his track GML, especially on Fridays.
